About me

A dentist who takes her time

Lots of people feel tense in the dental chair. I take my time, explain what I’m doing as I go, and we work at a pace that suits you.

I graduated in dentistry from the University of Groningen in 2016 and have worked as a dentist ever since. I started in Groningen, spent about two years on Sint Maarten in the Dutch Caribbean, and now work across Groningen, Drenthe and Friesland.

Alongside my work in practice, I also taught for a while at the dentistry programme of the UMCG in Groningen. Today you’ll find me at Tandartspraktijk De Hunze in Groningen and Tandartspraktijk Haulerwijk.

I have a particular affinity for anxious patients, and I believe good care starts with listening.

General dentistry for adults and children

  • Check-ups and prevention

    Regular check-ups, X-rays when needed, and practical advice to keep your teeth healthy.

  • Fillings

    Tooth-coloured fillings to repair cavities and small damage.

  • Root canal treatment

    Treating an inflamed or infected nerve so the tooth can be saved.

  • Extractions

    Removing a tooth when saving it is no longer the best option.

  • Crowns and bridges

    Restoring badly damaged teeth or replacing a missing one.

  • Children’s dentistry

    Relaxed first visits and check-ups, so children learn the dentist is nothing to fear.

I treat patients at these two practices. To make an appointment or register as a new patient, contact the practice directly.

Toothache or another urgent problem? Call the practice. Outside office hours, the practice’s phone line or website tells you which dentist is on duty.
